Below is a list of all organizations that received a grant from Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA) for 2007. TCA has a rigorous process to determine its grantees, and because of that process we can assume these charities have some level of legitimacy.
Reasons for equine charities not to be listed below could be manifold including:
a. not a thoroughbred charity
b. did not apply for a TCA grant (hint, if you are a thoroughbred charity, and did not apply for a grant, please consider doing so. A thouroughbred charity is so classified if it does some of its work with the thoroughbred or within the industry.)
c. not a 501 (c) 3
