alexbrownracing.com was created in August of 2007, by Alex, to continue the work we started on timwoolleyracing.com with Fans of Barbaro. It is the home of Fans of Barbaro which continues to pursue significant horse welfare activities.

I had managed Timwoolleyracing.com while galloping horses at Fair Hill, teaching at the University of Delaware and consulting with Clear Admit. I decided that this project needed more of my focus, and made this my priority leaving my other work. I also saw this as an opportunity to travel and see horse welfare issues in different parts of North America. I am currently at Woodbine (Ontario, Canada), working for Steve Asmussen. Woodbine is my sixth racetrack since August 2007. I started at Penn National and then Presque Isle, both in Pennsylvania. I moved on to Keeneland for the Fall meet. I then spent a couple of weeks at Churchill Downs before moving to Texas to start working for Steve Asmussen at Sam Houston Race Park.

Basically the site is no different to timwoolleyracing.com except that I am no longer at Fair Hill working for Tim Woolley.
