TRACK RAT (FOB) Pulled from New Holland kill pen 5/24/06.
Track Rat raced on 5-11 in Connecticut for the last time she had 33 starts and won $48,335 in her career. She celebrated her 5th birthday on 5-14 then fortunately for her, AC4H found her after she was purchased for slaughter by Don Nickerson on 5-21-07... and with donations from FOB's and the AC4H discussion forum we were able to pull her to safety. Thank you for saving her life.
Track Rat foaled 5-14-02 in MD- 33s,W,$48,335 JC report states she was raced 5-11 in CT and on 5-21-07 she was purchased for slaughter.

AWAD won the Arlington Million. Secretariat Stakes, Early Times Manhattan Stakes, and Sword Dancer Invitational Handicap, all grade I turf events. NCR at Arlington International, 10fT, 1:58:69; NCR at Saratoga, 12fT, 2:23:20. Standing: Pennsylvania at Castle Rock Farm. Moved to "Old Friends" Kentucky Sept 2006.
Life After Rescue
From Christy at AC4H - "A friend from New Jersey came. She took Snippet he will be worked by children and shown (the last one made the A circuit shows). I asked her to take Track Rat and start her show career. This mare has it going on. AC4H retains ownership the horse but Jen will train her and show her with her students. Keep your fingers crossed for this gorgeous girl from kill pen to show ring.."
