Mountain View Rescue

Mountain View Rescue is a private horse rescue that has been in operation informally for over 15 years. Last spring we decided to give it a name and really go forward in our rescue efforts. As of October 2007, we are a KY recognized non-profit corporation. We are on our way to becoming a 501c3 non-profit organization. We have come together to rescue any equine (as well as other animals we can care for & place) in need. We do all facets of rescue from owner surrenders, off track Thoroughbreds, horses needing rehab for injury/illness, equines with mental and behavioral issues, abused or emaciated horses, and of course our beloved orphan foals every spring. We do not discriminate due to age, breeding, gender, or any other issues. We welcome every horse we have the financial means to support providing we have space available. Our goal is to ensure every horse receives all the TLC and training they need to find a loving forever home. We strive to match each horse with the best possible adopter. Our horses are adopted on contract only, that contract can be found on my website for review. We welcome everybody to visit our website to meet our horses, and take advantage of all the useful information and helpful links to equine related material.
