Description of Rescue

Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society is a 501c3 non-profit organization serving horses throughout Texas and Arkansas and beyond. We were incorporated in March 2005 and filed for our 501c3 the same month. Although we're a relatively young group, our BOD has many years of equine rescue experience and are experienced equine neglect investigators, including several trained by Code 3 Associates and the University of MO-Columbia. We primarily work with law enforcement and the community to investigate reports of neglect, remove horses from negligent owners, rehabilitate neglected horses and then rehome them.
