Horse experience
I was raised with horses, as my grandfather was a great horseman, and have ridden all my life. As a child I was always content to just be in their presence. I can remember flying with the wind on the back of some great steed, across the fields. Before anything else, my interest was horses. Nothing could soothe my soul the way a horse could and that's still true to this day.
I now have 2 horses....a black Percheron gelding (age 6) and a Perch/QH gelding (age 5). They both came to me as weanlings and I trained them myself. I'm not a "horse trainer" per se but, found that with an open mind and patience, consistency and love it is possible to have the horses of my dreams. To see my boys grow from babies to the fine noble creatures they are now is one of the greatest accomplishments of my life.
