Started riding
From AlexBrownRacing

I was actually only 5 here, wasn't allowed to start at the riding school until age 7, so I had to "cheat" a little, and take every chance I could... :) The paint-pony's name was "Tuff", he used to run under the arena fence with his little riders and get rid of them that way... Tuff actually did that with my brother, who happened to get stuck with his foot in one stirrup and was dragged behind Tuff for a bit - my brother didn't get really hurt, but that was the last time he rode (at least "officially", he did go on trail rides with me later in life)
I LOVED TUFF!! I remember having a lot of fun with him, once I got to start taking lessons.

Here I was 10, with my "FIRST LOVE" Luna. It was my riding instructor's dressage horse, and she let me borrow her for 2 weeks during the summer, for Luna's "vacation" - with strict instructions: NO dressage or work, just fun trail rides and galloping and pasture time! As you can tell from Luna's belly - she DID get a lot of GRASS those 2 weeks... That was the best summer of my childhood!!
Here I was 3 with my mom (stylish dress of the times...) - probably one of the first encounters with "the HORSE". I had already back then the "no fear"-attitude, I am sure my mom had plenty (of fear - for me...) LOL
