Longtime New England resident and animal lover -- one horse, one dog, two cats, four turtles, some fish.
Horse experience
Started riding shortly before 8th birthday, on kind, honest school horses. Was a licensed Massachusetts instructor for a number of years. Got my first horse as an adult, had him for 18 years till he died at age 33. Got another horse ten years later, a registered Morgan gelding who was the apple of my eye for five years plus. He was put down due to lymphoma on October 8, 2009. I now have a leased Morgan. I would like to have more than one at a time, but board is expensive around here, so I get my horse fix through rescue cheerleading.
FOB activities
I support Another Chance 4 Horses, Beauty's Haven Farm and Equine Rescue, New England Equine Rescue, and Pure Thoughts on a regular basis, and chip in for Forever Morgans. I comment occasionally when I have something to contribute.
