New pictures from Tee 8/24/07

Story:

Sky came from the University of MD's research program. He was the last one to be adopted. Sky is a 16 handish TB gelding, plain bay, seems like a handful when he's excited. His owner said she had some lameness issues with a suspensory that wouldn't heal, so they took him to the VA-MD Equine Medical Clinic in Leesburg for surgery. Apparently he never healed 100% to event. He's a nice looking horse as far as his conformation. I think if he's ridden, he'll need a confident rider.

STATUS                                                
                                                             
           Sky has traveled to Lifelines Farm and Sanctuary 
           where Tee will spoil him with loads of TLC. This
           was a joint effort between two rescues to help this
           beautiful boy.                                     
                                                              
   7/29/07:Sky, the recent TB save from Univ of MD has found 
           a home once his respite care has been completed.
           Jocelyn, his new momma, will be here daily grooming
           and working with him until his release.
