Yes Yes Ohyes, 2 yr colt now gelded. Race 3 June 18, 2007. Owner/Breeder: Hidden Meadows Farm, Trainer/Breeder: Clifford Sise, Jr., Jockey: Victor Molina. Morning line odds for this colt were not bad: 9/2. The colt was very fractious in the gate, ended up going down, then was scratched by the track veterinarian. Yes Yes Ohyes had cuts from his actions in the gate. After removing his tack, the jockey kicked the colt in the stomach which was caught on TVG cameras and broadcast nationwide. articlearticlePedigree The jockey is currently suspended until his hearing. It should be noted that track officials did the correct thing and apparently followed their own policy, but only after numberous phone calls from upset fans who witnessed his conduct on TVG. Molina rode Stormin Delight in Race 5 and You Skat Two in Race 6, coming in 4th and 6th respectively, before being removed from the Park. Yes Yes Ohyes had a very traumatic experience in his 2-year old life, falling in the gate, getting cut by the gate, getting kicked by the jockey and then getting gelded. Also, one of Yes's owners, Randy Welty (according to first article link), has called the Stewards on Molina's behalf. For all of these reasons I think we need to monitor Yes's racing progress.
