I am or will be soon one of the baby boomers. I live along the Coast of Maine with my husband and our cocker spaniel, Phantom. We have nine grandchildren. We are both retired and enjoy it. I highly recommend retirement to everyone. I have always loved horses and use to ride growing up.

Growing up, I would visit my cousin and go horse back riding with her. It was always bare back and I can't count the number of times I would slide off. Wonderful memories. Love horse wagon rides and sleigh rides in the winter.

I never was a fan of horse racing but always watched the Triple Crown. A race horse named Barbaro changed that for me in one race. I started following and looking for updates on him. This lead me first to TWR and now ABR.

I am a supporter of Miracle Horse Rescue, Inc. in Pahrump, NV. I did contribute to the first Barbaro Challenge Rescue, a challenge that MHR undertook. For months and months watched Rosie and Misty waiting for the foals to arrive. Since then, I have become an adoptive mommy along with many other mommies of Bobby's Lil Angel, aka Baby B and Bobby's Spirit, aka Spirit. They are such a joy to watch. I am also one of Mac's Angels who help with his vet bills and Strawberry Mountain Mustangs in Oregon. I am anti slaughter and have helped when I can for horse rescues.
