MISS PENNY
From AlexBrownRacing
Story:
Penny is a registered QH mare that is 19 years old, approximately 15'3", and just a sweet, sweet girl. Penny was a great cutting champion in her time and has been trained in roping and penning. She is retired now due to her injury but would make a wonderful companion.
UPDATES
12/17/07: I brought Penny and Hope home this week with
Penny at the farm and Hope at my house.
Penny is really feeling this cold weather and
she is quite uncomfortable on her bad knees.
I'm giving her bute for a couple of days to
try to make her more comfortable but we'll
have to see how she fares.
1/03/08: Miss Penny is really uncomfortable with this
cold weather and we are trying some
supplements and bute to give her some pain
relief. I am trying the Forta-Flex on her
in hopes that it will help. I know it
didn't do anything for MarySue but can't
hurt to try again.
STATUS
Miss Penny is a 20 year old QH mare who was a 3 time
cutting champion. Unfortunately she blew her
knees out in competition and is now a companion
only. She is very healthy and a loving horse
and would make a great addition to the family.
Penny's adoption fee is $0.
