Bio

I live in beautiful Southern California with my daughter, Kym, 4 dogs-Lexi, Jagger, Kodak, Chloe, 3 cats-Emily, Sysco, Tabitha and 3 tortoises-Zelda, Trixie and Matilda.

I started riding at the age of 12 and became an accomplished rider/jumper over the years. I've ridden in the USA, both east and west coast, Northern England, Mexico, St. Lucia and Aruba. Of all the animals I've had, I've never had my own horse and hope to sometime before I get too old.

I'm a die-hard animal advocate and hope that someday all humans will realize we share this planet with these wonderful creatures and owe them the love, respect and care we would give other humans.

FOB activities

From that horrible day of the break down, I like most other FOBs, was drawn by the powerful energy Barbaro threw out there. I was mesmerized by this magnificent creature and from that day on, followed his progress on a daily basis. I stumbled upon the Tim Woolley site desperately trying to find updates after the mainstream news coverage faded away. I was amazed to find there were many others like myself that were obsessed with the wellbeing of Barbaro. "Another comfortable night" was all I needed to know to make it a good day.

I am a proud California daily "caller," pestering our legislators to pass HR503 and S311.

I have donated to various horse rescues and to laminitis research. This in in addtion to my other favorite animal welfare organizations.

For the love of Barbaro, we will win this fight.

FOB Network

I am grateful everyday that there are so many people out there of like-mind.

I had the pleasure of meeting Westcoast FOBs at Hollywood Park to celebrate Barbaro's Birthday and actually found a few in my neighborhood.

This wonderful network would never have happened if it was not for the love of Barbaro and this site to provide a venue to share that love.
