Bio
I have always loved horses, from a distance. I fell in love with a horse named Ruffian when I was 10 years old. She was my all-time favorite until Barbaro. He is the reason I am here. I am the mother of 2 young horse-crazy girls. We live in Tucson along with a husband who is not horse crazy (I'm working on him), and 2 beautiful labradors.
Horse experience
I recently began riding lessons, along with my daughters. We get frequent "horse" time and I look forward to more of this activity as my girls get older.
FOB activities
Since finding Alex's website the night of Preakness 2006, I have learned many things - horse slaughter, laminitis, rescues, synthetic tracks. I support FOB rescues, as well as a local PMU horse rescue. I also support other animal rights and animal issue causes.
