Felicia

Story:
A shipment of PMU babies arrived in PA carrying a
beautiful 3/4 QH and 1/4 Belgian filly. A mistake
was made on the shippers end and he sent the filly to a
family that wanted a colt so the family has asked that
she be placed. She is reported to be 100% quiet and
absolutely beautiful.
UPDATES
11/24/07: Actually "little" does not fit anywhere in the
description of this girl. Her name is Felicia
and she would be your basic "big boned" girl.
Nothing dainty here! lol
She's taller than Omelet and built like a
tank. Very sweet for a girl whose never been
handled and never had a halter on before.
She's mellowing in the stall with Nugget for
the evening and we'll get to know her better
tomorrow.
11/27/07: Felicia is still a little jumpy but is happy
to have Nuggy to keep her company. So long as
she has food, water, and Nuggy she's a happy
girl. I'm going to give her a couple of more
days and then we'll start working with her.
First order of business is getting her halter
on and her ID collar off. Should be fun.
12/17/07: Felicia just loves Hope and she is getting
more comfortable every day with being
handled. Babies just cannot resist
scratchies. I hope to play musical horses by
the end of this week and, once again, get
everyone settled. The babies (Mellie,
Omelet, and Felicia) will all be home with me
and Hope which will be good for Hope because
she loves the babies.
12/30/07: I electrified some of the rope fencing
outside of the paddocks to give the babies
more room to run and play. Nugget only had
to hit it once to know that it was on and he
could not escape anymore. Mellie took 2
zaps to learn and bless her dense little
heart Felicia had to hit all 3 rows before
she got the message that the fence bites. I
do love those drafties.
1/03/08: Omelet, Felicia, and Mellie are all growing
like weeds and just enjoying being kids.
Felicia is becoming quite the lovebug and
learning that people have hands that give
great scratchies. Mmmmmm.
