Bio
I lived in Woodland Hills Ca. most of my life until I moved to the Santa Clarita Valley in 2005. I needed more room for all my horses. In 1980 I became an a large animal health tech. I worked actively in that filed for many years. In 1985 I became a Deputy Sheriff and used my knowledge of horses to be the 1st woman assigned to the Mounted Unit. I have had horses all my life and been an advocate for rescue since I was a 16. In 2002 I began to save PMU foals and when the mares lost their contract in Albert Canada I started saving mares and foals together. Then mares that were pregnant. I then started working on getting feed lot horses from Canada to be shipped to U.S. to avoid slaughter. My love for horses is what keeps me going. I have 6. I do not believe in breeding we have to many that are wonderful and need that chance at life. So save a life instead of creating one.

FOB activities
I have been active on the forum when I can. I give when I have extra. Times are hard right now. It is all I can do to make sure my 6 get what they need. I would do anything I could to help even if it is going without on my end.
