Description of Rescue
Started July 2011, 501(c)3 papers are in the process of being filled out. Located in Western New York, near Niagara Falls. Small scare rescue with the ability to have 6 horses on property, and 4 in foster care. Brand new rescue, just started this year. This rescue focuses on rehab and adopting out horses who come into the rescue for a second chance. To become a foster home you must establish a relationship with the rescue and fill out a foster application. All horses are adopted out with contracts. Horses come mainly from kill pens, auctions, but also owner surrender. Visitors can come anytime with an appointment. Volunteers and welcomed and encouraged, must fill out paperwork. Education programs to come.
