Horse experience
I started riding at the age of 6 and got my first horse when I was 17. I rode Western pleasure for a few years, moved to hunt seat, and eventually found my way to dressage in 1978. About the time I started focusing on dressage, I moved to a 90 acre farm where I rented an apt and stall space. I bred and foaled several mares and foaled mares for friends. I competed successfully through second level dressage with my anglo-Trakehner mare Lark. Lark is now 22, still sound, and a great companion on the trails.
