July 18, race 7, 1 mi on the turf, Oceanside Stakes. Mayor Bozarth, 3, c. Squeezed at the start, chased a bit off the rail, came out on second turn and 4 wide into stretch, was between rivals in midstretch, then was being pulled up in distress when broke down behind through the final sixteenth and vanned off.Euthanized. O: Amerman Racing, LLC; T: Robert Frankel; J: Brice Blanc. This is the first official breakdown of the 2007 racing season for DEL MAR on the first day of the season. Horse was the betting favorite to win at odds 1.70. Horse should be on the vet report as brokedown euth. and is not as of 7/25/07.

July 19, 2007, race 6, 5 f. turf, All/Opt. Clmg. Rock 'n U S A, age 4/g, settled off the rail early, pulled up on the backstretch but walked off. DNF. Tr: Ted West Own: Jeffrey Sengara Not listed on vet report as of 7/25/07 so need to check back later.

Clmg. $25,000, 3 & up. polytrack Tricky Flash Flood, age 6/h, wide early, stalked outside, dropped back fast on second turn, pulled up lame in the stretch and vanned off. DNF.
