Bio
I have been a corporate paralegal for the last 11 years in Washington, DC. I grew up in rural South Jersey and moved to Washington to attend Catholic University for a BA in World Politics and attended Georgetown University's Legal Assistant Program. I now work in the in-house legal department of a leading public relations/consulting firm in DC.
I currently live in Crofton, MD with my husband, Michael, and my cat, Buddy. Aside from horses and horseracing, I love being outdoors, reading, old movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Horse experience
My great-aunt, Nan Capps, owned racehorses in NJ and KY. Although she died before I was born, I've heard many great stories surrounding her love of horses and horseracing. My grandfather and great-uncles were also great racing fans, having spent a lot of time at Garden State Race Track in NJ. I love going to Laurel Park in MD - there are no slots, just pure racing.
My family owned ponies when I was little and I helped exercise a neighbor's horse when I was a teenager. Although I don't currently own any horses, my goal is to own my own horse within the next 5 years.

There are some great people on this site that I've connected with since I first started visiting this site in the Fall of 2006. I think its great that its been kept up this long and the work that is done here is truly inspiring.
