Description of Rescue
We are a private equine rescue located near Hancock, NY. We have a small family farm and take in horses that need new homes when we have space in our barn. We took in our first rescue over ten years ago, and she is still a permanent resident here. We free-lease horses out under contract to what we hope to be forever homes, and keep in touch with our horses. If we don't have room for a horse we network to find assistance for that horse. Our family-run farm welcomes visitors any time. We also create horsehair jewelry from our rescue horses' tails, that are used by us, and many other rescues for fundraising efforts. We also hold free jewelry classes at our local After School Program, educating students about horse welfare while we assist students in creating their own beautiful bracelets.
