Bio

I'm based in South Texas (outside Corpus Christi) and work in marketing for an inspection company. In my free time, I draw and paint and garden.

Horse Experience

Sometime fan of racing, my interest in horses has been lifelong, although my interaction with them has been intermittent. I spent many summers on the back of an ornery Quarter Horse, racing down country roads, rounding/cutting cattle, and holding imaginary barrel racing contests around bales of hay. This is Bigfoot, and I loved him dearly. Due to people who loved him and gave him a good home and honest work, Bigfoot lived to the ripe old age of 37.

Purpose Here, including Fundraising Campaign

I've enjoyed my involvement and interaction with FOB since just after Barbaro's accident. Since that time, we have all laughed and cried and prayed for ACN (another comfortable night) together~ which has been an enriching experience. I want to see horse slaughter end in the U.S. and the end of laminitis and myriad other ailments horses suffer from. To help toward the end of such ailments, I have launched an online shop~ offering prints and cards, many of which will benefit funds and charities that are horse related. For example, the Barbaro Fund and the Laminitis Fund at UPenn. Fundraising Page
