Barbaro Updates: 603

updates are now here.

Update 3572: Casino Drive worked a little this morning: Casino Drive Works.

Update 3571: One of our favorites, Better Talk Now, will be seeking to repeat his 2007 win in the Manhatten, part of the undercard for the Belmont on Saturday: Better Talk Now Seeks Manhattan Repeat.

Update 3570: My latest entry on The Rail:

The Racetrack's Rules of the Road.

Update 3569: Another grey morning this morning at Woodbine. Its not summer here yet! We had seven sets. Three of mine went before the break and four after the break, three of which went to the gate to stand and school. A pretty quiet, low key morning for me. I did see two people fall off, right in front of me! One of my horses scooted away from me as someone came flying by on my outside, but not an untypical morning!

Fun: Getting to Know ... Edgar Prado.

And if you have pre-Belmont questions, ask here: Q & A: Joe Drape From Belmont Park.

Update 3568: Another excellent article on The Rail: Drugs and Racehorses.

Please keep calling and writing.

Comments

Good morning FOB's, Alex, and Barbaro! Everyone say a prayer and keep their fingers crossed that all goes well for all the runners Saturday at the Belmont! We are expecting temps around 96 in NJ/NY Saturday, not great conditions for the race!
Have a good day everyone!

Morning skritches to the BBH, Sir JH, Gorgeous George, Belle, KeyKey and the rest of the stellar gang of Heavenly Equines.

On their behalf:

MORNING POST/ShelleyA, Debra,WI/AAHS:

Congrats Everyone on the 2 New House cosponsors!! Keep up the great work!!

STRATEGY FOR THURSDAY, JUNE 5

Both the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid (D-NV), have the power to bring the bill up for consideration in their respective chambers, therefore it is vital that as many people as possible, both at the grassroots level and internally within Congress, insist that the House Speaker and Senate Majority Leader do everything in their power to afford the bills legislative due process and bring them immediately to the floor for a vote.

Speaker of the House - Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) DC Phone: 202-225-4965 Fax:202-225-4188

Senate Majority Leader - Harry Reid (D-NV) DC Phone: 202-224-3542 Fax:202-224-7327

It is our understanding that more co sponsors would certainly facilitate our efforts with Speaker of the House Pelosi and draw the much needed attention to this legislation. For this reason, we will be posting the names of Representatives that we will be targeting.

Bart Stupak – MI Phone: 202-225-4735 Fax: 202-225-4744

Vernon J. Ehlers – MI Phone: 202-225-3831 Fax: 202-225-5144

Fred Upton – MI Phone: 202-225-3761 Fax: 202-225-4986

Michael J. Rogers – MI Phone: 202-225-4872 Fax: 202-225-5820

Russ Carnahan – MO Phone: 202-225-2671 Fax: 202-225-7452

Ike Skelton – MO Phone: 202-225-2876 Fax: 202-225-2695

Please continue to gather information from your calls and pass that information on to us via email through the DB.

Finally, please mention Americans Against Horse Slaughter when making your calls and remind them that we are a non funded, grassroots group of people from across the country brought together for the sole purpose of passing this legislation. It is important that they know we have NO OTHER agenda.

We are BARBARO’S VOICE……Let it be heard!!

Hiya, FsOB! Gosh, Ruth Ann, I know that it is supposed to be close to or 90 degrees Fahrenheit this Saturday in inland CT. I do hope that the heat isn't so bad at Belmont. Does anyone know if Big Brown is scheduled to get the special shoe reapplied today?

Anne & Terry Brennan continue to astound me with their tremendous capacity for giving. They are, in my humble opinion, truly an example for us all in the same manner as Roy & Gretchen Jackson. And isn't that saying something?

Wishing all horses and humans a safe day and a very special happy birthday to our delightful FOB in PA: Lou Ann! Enjoy your day, Lou Ann. Peace, Robyn

#### To Margie: Yes, I would always pay a visit to St. Louis Cathedral in NOLA. I think I've visited that city > 13 times since 1991 or 1992. A magical place.... If you do move to Baton Rouge someday, I'll get you an introduction to a friend of mine who lives there and works for the state's Medicaid program.
To Sandra: So funny about Chief & the pillow. But my first Husky, Natasha, was a most frisky young pup. She ate a HUGE hole in the mattress one day. And we bred her with Reggie, who demolished my cousin Judy's banister! ####

Good Morning Family/Fans of Barbaro

PLEASE CALL, FAX, EMAIL...WHEN IT GETS DISCOURAGING LOOK AT THE WHITE MARE...ON INTO THE EYES OF THE MAGNIFICENT HORSE...

We are their voices, they cannot speak for themselves...and gradually we will be heard. Congratulations on two more new co-sponsors!!!!

Please remember and help our rescues, our Fallen Angels, the ones suffering human or animal, our wildlife, and always our loving family.

Prayers for our nation to heal...and come out of this slump...there are so many people who are suffering because of high prices, etc.

Prayers for a wonderful safe journey at the Belmont...that all horses and all riders...come home safe and sound....and Big Brown...that your trainers and owners will do what is best for you...we understand they control alot on what is going on.

I am so thankful for my family...so thankful for Alex...who has the patience of Job...

Have a bless day.

######
Tim and Fair Hill...thank you.
Our Fallen Angels..we are here...we know what you have faced...and we are giving 100 percent.

##Barb, AZ - thanks for posting the link to the AAHS merchandise! I'm ordering a tote bag to use as a "green" grocery bag. I'll print off an explanation of this issue - as short as possible -provide links for more info plus how to contact the powers that be to try and wake them up to what most Americans want to happen. Figure in those moments at the grocery check out, someone is bound to notice and comment or inquire. NW Fla is pretty horsey so here's hoping! I BELIEVE

Dear Famblee

Yesterday I went for my follow up appointment with my GP....I had my follow up with my heart specialist on June 28th. My specialist told me that all my tests were good EXCEPT the Wall Motion Study which showed my heart was pumping too low just as I had suspected!!!!????

I didn't think too much about it because he didn't waste any time booking me another Wall Study at University Hospital because their equipment was more precise....he didn't seem to be too worried about it so I wasn't overly concerned!!!???

My GP referred back to the Wall Motion Study telling me again that it was TOO LOW.....
Says me..."HOW LOW IS TOO LOW?"
Says he..."It's only pumping at 9 percent!!"
I didn't realize at the time that I was in SHOCK!
It didn't hit me until last evening what he was telling me!!!!

I'm not giving up ...I LOVE YOU ALL !!! YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME!!! You have no idea how much I look forward to reading your comments each and everyday!! Little Hope and Jerri at MHR are a source of yes "HOPE" for ALL OF US!!!!!

This morning I started my walking routine which the doctor and I hope will strengthen my heart muscle!! It felt GOOD!! The 35 pounds I have lost is helping to take extra pressure off my heart!!!!

I KNOW YOU WILL ALL PRAY...because I just know... you are my famblee so I'M COUNTING ON IT!!!

I will be giving my best shot at this and Barbaro taught me that we should never give up even though the odds may seem insurmountable!!!

I WILL ALWAYS...BELIEVE!!!!

HUGS and love ...you will always be my favorite people in the whole world!!!
Your fren FOREVER....

Thank you for posting this article, Alex. I remember when bute started to be used for race horses; it quickly became a means to get a lame horse to a claiming race at a small track and hopefully claimed. I'll always connect bute with claiming races mentally, although I do remember it being used in the barn for horses home on rest and occasionally for the show horses, who sometimes showed inflamation from a season in weighted shoes. Such a shame that a really effective drug when used sanely, has opened the door to the situation we see today.

THURSDAY AT TBFRENS.
*******************************************************
Thursday, June 5th...
This is part of an e-mail from Tori, and she is 10:
Do horses really poop in the same spot?

Sure, and we love horses who do. If each horse pooped in the same place, I would have 5 hours of free time every day.

This is part of an e-mail from Kaitlynn, and she is 11: I have been reading you since I was 8, but you never write about riding a horse. Who is your favorite horse to ride?

The little horse outside of Safeway that takes a quarter. I do not ride real horses. I know my limitations. Many times I have been injured by race horses, and all I was doing was standing there. No way am I getting on top of one.

This is part of an e-mail from Tess, and she is 12: Why not let Cathy write the morning journal, like on days when you have to work at another ranch?

I have asked. Begged. I even promised to do the dishes. But Cathy refuses.

My good friend Ryan Andrews would like to write a paragraph though. Ryan witnessed doomed horses loading onto a large stock trailer. He watched the trailer drive away, heading for a slaughter house in Canada. There we were, a horse in each hand. I named my gelding Nelson Riley, and he is a sweetheart. Ryan named his mare Apple, and she is an appy cross. We only had enough money to save these two horses. To be truthful we were $60.00 short, but the debt has since been repaid. Apple is in West Sacramento. Nelson Riley is in my fields. Ryan did not think watching doomed horses would affect him this way. He wants to put his feelings on paper.

I told Ryan, when you are finished I will show your paragraph on my morning journal.

more to come

Posted by: jonnagrey at June 5, 2008 3:19 PM

Good morning famblee,

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers for Jim. I know he is in a better place and helping us in a different way, from above. I also suspect he is rounding up all the horses we've lost....esecially the nameless ones, and giving them so much love and heevinly carrots and apples.
He was into rescue, all his family pets were rescues, so I know he is really loving up the horses in heevin that had no homes.

Maribel, I pray each day for you. Keep walking, build up that heart muscle girl! We're right there with you, every step of the way.

Horrible storms last night in our area and a certain little Siamese boy was, surpisingly, very nervous about the storms. Pacing and crying most of the night. He's usually so calm about it. Little Afleet Alex had quite the stressful night but is sound asleep beneath my feet under my desk in his cozy bed right now.

Signing off now to make my calls for the morning, then follow-up with more this afternoon. Please ask someone to help you with your calls too. The more we have call, the more our voices will be heard. And, as I did yesterday, my calls will be dedicated to a certain loving man who spent a great deal of his time the past couple of years helping us with our calls.

Posted by: Skyler at June 5, 2008 3:33 PM

Cheryl Jones,

I was just reading last nights posts.
To get things straight, I never said anything negative about Mrs Chaney, if you read my comments you would know that. I did say however maybe she did not care to be involved, that iwould be her choice.I know she is a great lady I did read the story of Secretariat. AS I SAID She is a LADY.

Not all of us are as deeply invloved in the racing industry as others here, and some of us don't care to be. We are here for the love of Barbaro and horses to stop slaughter and to rescue,we want to be educated about horses.I am reading an autobiography that discusses the BLACK side of the industry, what the Jockeys go through is horrific all for the love of horses, and should never be allowed to happen. It is not so pretty as you think it is, and the people involved. There is bad in every industry.

DO not make comments unless you have your facts. You always have my respect and love. I appreciate your being able to voice your feeling also.

Posted by: Renee Antaya at June 5, 2008 3:38 PM

Good Morning all,

Great to see that there are 2 more cosponsers. Slowly chipping away. One day we will end the slaughter of American Horses. Not soon enough.

I'm not one to take a whole lot of stock in "signs" but I received a package from UPS today at my home, and the driver handed me a Go Big Brown pin. Very impressive. 2 days until the Belmont. I'll be sure to wear it. I hope it brings BB home safe and also a winner.

GO BIG BROWN!!!

Maribel, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY for you! 9%, eh? wow. You must be feeling so much better now that you're lean and exercising. You GO, Girl! Love you sooooooooo much

Skyler, I bet Jim is happy in hevvin with not only all the greats that we know, but thosewe don't. Maybe even some who never knew love here. I'm sure they all stood around him and said among themselves, "we know who he is. He's a RESCUER". He's in that very special place in hevvin reserved just for special angels like him.
love to you and Jim, and Puddy wants Alex to know he shouldnt be askared, its just horsssessss dumpin troffs and that makes lotssa noyez

All,

We have sold 8 raffle tickets. I know we can do better than that! Raffle goes till the end of June.

Re-post:

Here is the information on the DB about the fund raising for the Brennans.

For those who don't traverse to the DB, here is what it says over there.

Basically, there are FOUR ways to help:

1)__Donation Jar at the celebration:

____At the fundraiser Saturday night at the reception desk. It will also be at the reception desk at the Grove Sunday, where Sharon will be handing out the meal bracelets like last year.

2)__Auction:

Items will be shipped to:

Rachel Rockoff
605 E Cope Rd
Kennett Square, PA 19348

Then, they will put on ebay. Stacy Hindt and Rachel will be handling this.

3)__Raffle:

____For those not attending who wish to contribute, you can buy a raffle ticket for $10.00 to win a beautiful portrait of Erin. Email me for the mail-in form. (barb_az53@yahoo.com)

4)__Direct donation:

____To:

Friends of Erin Brennan
c/o First National Bank, ATTN: LOCKBOX
P.O. Box 523
West Chester PA 19381

If you have any questions, drop me an email:

barb_az53@yahoo.com

I think we were put here on Alex's site for a reason.

Barbaro is the reason.

I think he expects us to DO something with that!

Barbaro brought us to little Erin. Now we have lost her, but imagine what the family is going through.
They are grieving.

They are also faced with tremendous medical bills, and the expense of burying little Erin.

Please consider at least ONE of the options above to help out the Brennans.

Thanks, FOB. Let's make Barbaro proud!

JOE FOR WEDNESDAY CONTINUEEEEEEEEEE:
**************************************************
I told Ryan, when you are finished I will show your paragraph on my morning journal.

Dozens of e-mails a day, and most are from kids. It does not take a brain surgeon to realize kids are the majority of our readers. But this e-mail came from Clara, and she is 74: You mentioned Karen Carpenter on your morning journal, and I cried and cried. It is very difficult to grow old. The memories of past horses and people who were so important in my life. Now they are all gone. Tell those kids who visit you from a youth shelter to grab hold and never let go.

Enjoy your windy, 77 degree Thursday, and be sure to hug your horses. Soon, when pictures arrive, I will share with you the story of Kona Kove, who was claimed at the race track just so he could go home. Two amazing women who raised enough money to save a horse. There is good everywhere. Grab hold and never let go.

Joe

All day yesterday winds were bonkers.

Top Left: Poteens Rambo came from the race track last month very sore. But now when Rambo plays he is poetry in motion.

Top Right: Husband and wife Justin & Set The Course stay close in the winds.

Bottom Left: This is Lit Royale, and he came from the track last Friday. Twice now Lit Royale has been ridden by young girls, and he is very kind under saddle. Even in hurricane winds Lit Royale is quiet.

Bottom Right: In the winds No Night had his gate blow down. But he stayed put.

June 5 Cherokee Devotional [sharing email from Harriette Brillianthawk]

Following a certain line of thought brings us to question theories and opinions that flow to us through open windows. What are we supposed to think or believe or follow?

We can get into trouble following someone who seems reliable and important and interested in us. A common bond may be the answer--but what do we have in common with someone so far removed from our own way of thinking? It is our personal responsibility to know where we going---is it a path of peace or is it a place where nothing can grow?

Teach us the road to travel and we will not depart from it forever.

Kate here - just wanted to share the power of cross posting. Went past the Seguin auction and saw 2 paints. Told FOB Dixie and she asked if we could get pictures. My husband Bruce went down, told a little fib to the auction guy and took some pictures was told they were twin colts (drop dead gorgeous) whose owner couldn't take care of them anymore. That was Tuesday. Emailed Dixie who emailed her contacts, who emailed theirs etc, etc. The Seguin auction is a livestock auction with its regular killbuyers that was taking place the next day. To make a long story, a great couple drove 3 hours that morning purchased the twins and 2 other horses (another paint and an AQH) that they took to the rescue near them. All this took place with emails flying all over the place in just 48 hours. Just a small dent but a very happy one. Thanks, Dixie, Dawn, Shari, Julie & Stephen and everyone involved. By the way, the killbuyer was there and she was a female - Ugh!

My heart beats for your heart, Barbaro, always and forever! Run with the angels honey!
And all love to the entire Heavenly Herd who takes me to where angels walk!

Holding hands, paws, hooves, feets . . . with the entire Barbaro Nation, love you all so very much!

Wow, what a real birthday treat!!! The post about Edgar with the photo - God Bless him always!!!
And thank you everyone for the special day wishes - I feel your hugs right along with them!!

Invoking Our Lady and every Saint known to me for watching over Big Brown as well as all the equines and their riders for Saturday!! They all will, of course, be being specifically remembered in several cloistered convents, too.

Hope all FOB's are safe in the latest round of some nasty weather reports yesterday.

Love to all,
Lou Ann

WE HAVE A CHANCE TO SUPPORT A TOUGHER ANTI-CRUELTY LAW IN NJ

pls go to this thread for a link to take action to try to get a tougher animal cruelty law considered in New Jersey:

http://forums.delphiforums.com/alexbrown/messages?msg=24811.1

crossposting from the DB:

Rec'd this email from ASPCA - please if you are from NJ - take action as per their alert.

Dear New Jersey Advocates,

At the ASPCA, we very often are asked about the punishments in animal cruelty cases—specifically, why aren’t they stronger? As you are probably aware, the categorization of crimes (and their punishments) is under the control of your state’s government, and changing the law is a difficult and lengthy process, no matter how just the cause.

However, an opportunity to do just that is now before the State of New Jersey. The Animal Cruelty Recodification and Modernization Act (S. 1516) would, among other positive changes, increase penalties for certain acts and update the current law’s outdated language.

Unfortunately, S. 1516, now before the New Jersey Senate Economic Growth Committee, has not been placed on the agenda for the committee’s last hearing before summer recess. The hearing is this Monday, June 9. If S. 1516 is not heard, it may not have sufficient momentum to pass both houses next year.

What You Can Do
We urgently need your voice to convince members of the Senate Economic Growth Committee to make time on Monday for this important legislation. Please call Senator Raymond Lesniak, chair of the Senate Economic Growth Committee, at (908) 624-0880 today to urge revision of Monday’s agenda to include S. 1516. Everyone may call Senator Lesniak, not just his constituents.

In addition, please visit the ASPCA Advocacy Center to learn more about S. 1516 and to see who else may be contacted. [hotlink at DB thread]

Thank you, New Jersey. Please take action today—one person can make a difference.

###Kate from Canyon Lake--Awesome rescue story! It sure isn't a "small dent" to the 5 horses those folks saved! That's fantastic, and EVERY rescue is important. Pretty sad that the kill buyer in this case was a woman, but I guess there are those sad individuals of my gender that apparently have no compassion, heart or soul. Case in point are all the "girlfriends" that are always hanging out with the California kill buyers Joe from TBFriends describes. What woman would possibly be attracted to men who buy horses to send to slaughter? I cannot comprehend. . .but I guess even Ted Bundy had women writing him in prison, so I shouldn't be surprised!

Cheryl, I saw my M.D. yesterday and she is trying some new pills on me. Spinal stenosis is hard to treat especially when it involves the colon. However, I am grateful to be as well as I am. ###Chief is laid out today. Monday my niece came and petted him and talked to him and stayed about 2 hours. Yesterday the 2 plumbers came and they were here 2 hours and kept having to run get more parts and the one who stayed here made Chief his best friend. Then today the man came to work on the yard and gave Chief lots of attention. This afternoon Chief is sleeping as he is about worn out. Chief and I live a very quiet life and he is not used to so many visitors. Of course, he loved it. Sometimes he looks at me like "this is the most morning place I have ever been in my life-of course I havent been anywhere else much you see I used to have social problems". ###Just for fun I am writing a thing called "Conversations With Chief". I like to write and have some stuff published. This one is for fun. anyway, as yole can tell I dont know much. Saturday is almost here and I am getting really tense. I want them all to run safely. I guess I will watch but may have to take two Xanax to do it.

thanks for sharing that great rescue - it really is uplifting - what a happy ending! gonna save your post for reading when the sad and horrible stories come down at us!

it must have been wonderful for you to have played a part in such a great rescue!

Happy Birthday Lou Ann.

Thinking of you, Maribel. Stay well!

Hugs to all owners that have lost bedding, furniture, kitchen cabinets, car seats, gear shift knobs, shoes, carpeting, sticks and leashes to a furbaby. I never try to repair damaged wood furniture that is half eaten. Everytime I see the knawed places, I think of that dog and smile.

God Bless Us, Everyone.

Who was the biggest long shot in the history of the Kentucky Derby, paying off at 91-1 odds?

I think I have the answer, but not sure.

STRATEGY FOR FRIDAY JUNE 6

However, this FREE FOR ALL FRIDAY!! The day for you to go back over your lists and call those you may have missed. Or to give another call to someone that you think is close and just needs that extra “push” to come join us!

Happy Birthday Lou Ann! Hope this birthday is the best ever. Hope all your birthday wishes come true this year and always.

Sandra, hope the new meds are helpful. Dear, Sweet Chief. sounds as though you two are a great pair. I've been helping a friend care for her newly acquired GSD who was a "throwaway". Separation anxiety. Doesn't seem to mind the thunderstorms, though. Started giving him Rescue Remedy that seems to help, but on her long work days, I take care of him, walk him, etc. He's a wonderful boy and I love him.

If your story is anything like your posts, it will be a roaring success. I would be pleased and honored to have it in my book collection.

Yeah, I'm gettin' jittery about Saturday too. Will feel a lot better when everyone crosses the finish line safely, no matter who comes in first.

Have a peaceful, restful evening everbuddy :)

Hiya, FsOB! There was an awesome story on Good Morning America today about Kent Desmoureux's young son, who has two cochlear implants for profound hearing loss and who has Usher's Syndrome and is now losing his sight. Kent D. and his wife were incredibly articulate; their commitment to their son was truly inspiring. They made me think of Anne and Terry Brennan. I do hope that Big Brown wins on Saturday so that this little boy can see his Dad ride a Triple Crown winning horse! I really had never seen any interviews with Kent and believe me, he is up there in 'Edgar Prado country' in terms of his dignity and gentility. I didn't think anyone could ever come close to approaching our Barbaro's Edgar. May all the horses come in safely as the heat index goes up. Peace, RMH

#### Happy birthday to our own dear Lou Ann in PA, my paisana little sister in spirit!
To Maribel: Kudos to you on the weight loss. Does your doctor have any other suggestions for you in terms of a cardiac regimen?
To Skyler: Sorry that your pets were so scared by the storms in the Midwest earlier.
To Sandra: Gosh, one time my late Illya scratched and knocked his way through the basement door that opened to the back yard. He and my four other Huskies all escaped, but came home safely. I thought that someone had broken in & kidnapped my dogs, but my "ex" pointed out that the door was pushed through and destroyed from the inside. I think that your Chief and my late Illya must truly be kindred spirits!
To Cheryl: There were bad storms and major power outages in DC last PM, early this AM. That may be why you had trouble reaching some offices.
To Harriette: Big Brown is such a talented & beautiful TB. He has such a devoted jockey and a talented rider as well. But that is too ghastly for words to think that he is somehow sponsored by "Hooters".... Good Lord, how crass! I suspect that most longstanding TB racing families are beyond appalled by this! ####

Thanks, Kay. That's who I thought it was.

Can you answer another Derby question? This isn't a contest. But they came to me for answers because they know I come HERE.

What horse was named after a famous stew? I don't have a clue on this one.

How about another one?

Which of these Kentucky Derby winners have streets named after them in Napa, CA? Funny Cide - Secretariat - Affirmed - Cavalcade.

Thanks.

I know yole read the same article I did. I thought there wasnt anything left for BBs connections but now they have hit the lowest. Sposored by Hooters and Nitwit (you all know who that is) wanted the girls to be in the winners circle with BB. The NYRA nixed that but did say the Hooters girls could pose in a picture with BB. I am not the Hooters judge but everyday I wait to see what BBs people will do next. I am so sorry for Big Brown and he cant help it because he has slime connections. Can you see the Jacksons having Hooters in the winners circle? cant type-new keybard.

My post went through this time. I am so thankful.
I haven't posted in a looooong time, and then when my posts would not go yesterday, I was just heartbroken!

I wanted to thank Peter Brette for the information he gave on Nicanor. We are so happy to hear anything and everything about him. I am happy also that Peter and Michael Matz are training him. They are kind and good, and take care of their horses.

We want only the best for this baby boy, as does his owners, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson.

Love to all,

FOB $1-$5 Alive Drive

We have just finished our 19th drive and we have raised over $1900 for rescued horses in less than 7 weeks. I'm very proud of everyone who has made this thread a success. Every donation and every bump. Thank-you.

Our next rescue is Epona Horse Rescue. Lin had a car accident recently and I hope she is feeling better. She also loss Pete the Belgium this week. RIP sweet Pete. Let's help Epona in his memory.

The person who put Epona on the list wanted the funds to go for a $1200 vet bill. I do not know if this bill has been covered or not, but the funds we raise can go to Epona's vet fund. And Lin can put it where she needs it most.

Our goal is once again $100.

You can donate at their website at:

http://www.eponahorserescue.com/

Or send paypal donations to:

eponahorserescue@msn.com

Please note that it is for vet fund.

Snail mail donations go to:

EPONA Horse Rescue

PO Box 2618

Kearney , Ne 68848

Please note that it is for vet fund.

Please report your donation on the "FOB $1-$5 Alive Drive" thread in discussion.

This is our 20th drive.

$100 needed.

Pocket change welcome.

Thank-you!
